About Us - The Story of VEYO. and The Athletes Behind It.

Why VEYO.

VEYO. was founded in 2024 by two Irish athletes - Conor Meyler and Ronan Jones - driven by a passion for self-improvement and a shared commitment to maximising life's potential. At VEYO., we believe better breathing is the gateway to better living. Whether you’re an athlete, a parent, or simply someone looking to feel more present and energised, we’re here to help you breathe better — one breath at a time.

About Conor

Hi, I’m Conor, co-founder of VEYO, a PhD researcher, an athlete, coach, and someone who’s always been fascinated by pushing the body and finding the edges of human performance. I’ve played intercounty football with Tyrone for over a decade, winning an All-Ireland and an All-Star along the way. But my journey hasn’t been linear. Like many athletes, I’ve faced numerous setbacks and spells on the sideline through injury. It’s in those moments, the quiet work, the rehab, the reflection, that I learned the most about my body, my mind, and the power of breath. Breathwork has become a transformative practise for me over several years, a journey of self-exploration and excavation. Getting curious around breathing has allowing me to push myself more physically, while also giving me clarity, calm, and control in the chaos of high performance and to enjoy the stillness and peace of everyday life.

About Ronan

Hi, I’m Ronan, co-founder of VEYO., a dad, partner, and someone who’s always been deeply curious about what it means to truly feel our best — both physically and mentally. Since 2018, I’ve worked at WHOOP as a Senior Marketing Manager, helping people better understand their health through data and insights. Alongside that, I’ve played intercounty GAA for Meath for nearly a decade, proudly captaining the team through the 2023/24 season. I've always been passionate about sport and my fitness. You name it and I've done it or currently do it — HYROX, Cycling, Soccer, CrossFit, Hurling, Rugby, Golf, Padel, Tennis... Health and performance have always been at the heart of my life. But one thing I quietly struggled with was my breathing. It was never severe, but it was always there — a nagging limitation I couldn’t quite fix. Multiple nose breaks and a deviated septum didn't help. I searched for answers, tried tools, but never found anything that really worked for me. So I decided to build something myself. VEYO. started as a personal solution, a tool I needed to feel more in control of my breath and my state. But that process sparked something bigger — a desire to create something that could help others, too.
